About the role

The role involves assisting the supervisor in planning and monitoring daily workflow, providing direction for staff, assisting with the orientation and training of new employees, maintaining expertise in all aspects of area activities, performing technical duties according to written policies and procedures, monitoring QA/QC activities, participating in continuous improvement, and completing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure QA/QC activities are monitored, the physical environment is maintained, and participates in continuous improvement.
• Completes other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills required.
• Complete understanding and demonstrated proficiency of all area work tasks.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relations skills.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and computer data entry skills is desired.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Will be required to stand and walk all the scheduled shift.
• Occasionally lifts up to 91 pounds.

Pay and Schedule

Compensation is $22.28 / hour based upon union contract. Benefits eligible. Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM; occasionally on weekends (1 of 3 weekends).
