About the role

The Lead Line Cook is responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff and ensuring that all food preparation meets high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with chefs to plan and execute menu items
  • Manage inventory and maintain stock levels

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid food handler’s license

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
