About the role
The Lead Line Cook is responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff and ensuring that all food preparation meets high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff
- Collaborate with chefs to plan and execute menu items
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience with kitchen equipment and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid food handler’s license
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
