About the Role

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to provide support for all home delivery services and assist in handling day-to-day operations. Compensation for this role is $22.00 - $23.00 an hour, with potential eligibility for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily
  • Leverage operational metrics to identify improvement areas and create actionable plans
  • Train material handlers to meet performance goals for safety, quality, and productivity
  • Foster positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers
  • Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve efficiencies
  • Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to exceed customer expectations

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
