Lead Lab Assistant - MCL

Role: Laboratory Support Technician Responsibilities: Assist management in laboratory workflows, perform clerical and processing duties including inventory management, specimen handling, and documentation. Ensure accurate patient identification and resolve pre-analytic specimen issues. Operate laboratory and office equipment, enter test orders, and support patient testing processes. May perform reagent preparation and manage supply inventories. Collaborate with team members to uphold quality and safety standards. Qualifications: Associate's degree or High School diploma with 2+ years relevant experience in clinical laboratory settings. Preferred qualifications include a health/science degree, computer literacy, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility for shift work, including holidays and weekends. Skills: Accurate specimen processing, equipment operation, data entry, and adherence to safety protocols. Good human relations and multitasking abilities are essential. Additional: Non-exempt position, hourly pay range $20.00 - $27.33, full-time schedule with variable shifts including days, evenings, and nights. A two-year commitment is required. The role does not sponsor visas or include the F1 STEM OPT extension.
