Lead Lab Assistant, Evenings - Midtown

Responsibilities

• Oversee phlebotomy and specimen processing services.
• Serve as the technical expert in phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Cook up phlebotomy and lab assistant activities to ensure timely, safe, efficient specimen collection and processing according to established collection protocols.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience and/or lab processor or lab assistant Required.
• Experience working in a hospital Preferred.
• No licenses or certifications required, but CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification and phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred.
