Lead Java Spring Boot Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Java/J2EE applications and RESTful services based on business requirements.
• Lead the development of scalable and secure solutions using Spring Boot and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze technical requirements and recommend effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and application optimization.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, testing, containerization, cloud, and application monitoring activities.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve technical issues.
• Work effectively with development teams and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Stay updated with current technologies and best practices in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and full-stack development.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience with Java 8/11/17 (Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Streams).
• 8–12 years of experience with Spring Boot & Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• 6–8 years of experience with Microservices Architecture & Distributed Systems.
• 6–8 years of experience with REST API Development & API Versioning.
• 2+ years of experience with API Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS).
• 3+ years of experience with React JS / React UI (mandatory for one position).
• 5–7 years of experience with database technologies including DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Experience with Integration Testing & API Testing using Postman and SOAP UI.

Skills

• Caching Technologies such as Redis, EhCache, and Hazelcast (good to have).
• CI/CD & DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, and Gradle (good to have).
• Containerization and Platform Engineering using Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes (good to have).
• Cloud Technologies including AWS, Azure, and EKS (good to have).
• Logging and Monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics (good to have).
• Agile / Scrum Methodology (good to have).
• Generative AI Initiatives / AI Integration (good to have).

Relevant certifications in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, or related technologies are a plus.
