About the Role
This role requires the candidate to work on-site in Dallas, TX, 5 days per week. As a Java Development Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the Spring Boot framework across our organization, working with cutting-edge integration technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions that drive real business impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Java Spring Boot framework
- Develop code and integration services using Java and microservices
- Create reusable components and services to streamline integration processes
- Integrate various systems including databases, web services (SOAP/REST), MQ, and file-based systems
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and performance
- Debug and resolve issues in message flows and integration logic
- Package and deploy integration solutions across environments
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams
- Document technical designs, flow diagrams, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of tech lead experience with Flowable, Java, microservices, Python, Relational DBs, NoSQL, etc.
- Proficiency in writing and debugging complex Linux scripts
- Understanding of complex SQL and Oracle queries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Some business knowledge of Market Risk concepts, including PFE, CVA, and VaR is desirable
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular to create dashboards and provide role-based access is a plus

Skills
- Strong Java and Spring Boot development skills
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Proficiency in Linux scripting and SQL queries
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Market Risk concepts is a plus
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular is desirable
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $198,400.00.
