About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java engineer to join our FX trading and related services team. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and operating large-scale trading platforms with a focus on low latency. The ideal candidate should have strong Java programming skills, expertise in concurrency and performance optimization, and experience with cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with architects and teams to develop and maintain complex applications.
• Support the design and implementation of cloud services, ensuring applications are cloud-aware.
• Develop and maintain automated processes to ensure service availability and address issues promptly.
• Identify and implement improvements in areas such as cost savings, security, user experience, and reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong Java programming skills and experience writing clean code.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Proficiency in profiling tools and specialized libraries/frameworks for low-latency applications.
• Knowledge of network protocols, performance optimization, and network communication techniques.
• Experience with modern agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a globally distributed team.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex issues across multiple technologies.

Career Stage

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $147,500 to $245,900, with eligibility for the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) based on role level and career stage. Additional benefits include:
