Lead, Inventory

Main Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and assist in physical inventory, including auditing and monitoring cycle counts
• Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
• Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily
• Trouble shoot and analyze inventory issues/discrepancies and process accurate inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement
• Analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
• Ensure that all operational reporting is completed and made available via applicable Sandvik systems
• Drives and partners with cross-functional teams to develop and implement approved changes
• Makes decisions and communicates work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required
• Monitors and directs the work of others

Requirements

• 3-6 years warehousing and inventory experience
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• Working knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably Blue Yonder or SAP) or plant systems, processes and procedures
• Strong Excel and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with associates/customers
• Ability to work specific shift, knowledge of commonly-used concepts’, practices and procedures, read, understand and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules, operate various office equipment as needed, perform simple math calculations, operate basic document and spreadsheet software
• High School or equivalent experience
• Post-secondary education/training in business or supply chain discipline would be of advantage

English Proficiency: Intermediate (CEFR B1/ Completed EF level 6)

Pay

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $22.00-$24.00 exclusive of fringe benefits and shift differentials.
