Responsibilities
- Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area.
- Provides 70% patient care and 30% supervisory functions.
- Promotes and advocates imaging services by staying updated on the latest technological advancements.
- Ensures accreditation standards are maintained and performs various tasks related to the operation of interventional equipment and other devices as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
- Minimum Experience: 3 years of technical experience.
- Licenses/Certifications Required: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R), Registered Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI), or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI).
- Additional Qualifications: BLS Certified, evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills, experience in leading personnel, and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
