Lead Insurance Collector - Patient Accounting - Full Time - Days - 8hr

Job Summary

Responsible for the appropriate control and collection of commercial insurance inpatient and outpatient accounts in the high dollar range.

Acts as a team lead within the department.

Stays apprised of changes within the industry in regards to billing and collections.

Acts as a resource for the business office.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledgeable of hospital contract terminology and reimbursement methodology.
• Hospital billing and claim knowledge/experience.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
