About the role
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency. This role involves maintaining and optimizing infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will also support infrastructure projects, collaborate with other IT teams, and provide guidance to junior team members.

Job Essentials
- 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and enterprise networks.
- 3+ years of experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity management, authentication, and hybrid integrations.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, including Windows Server installation, configuration, security, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in implementing and administering enterprise backup platforms and disaster recovery solutions, with a strong focus on data protection and business continuity.
- Proficiency with Citrix Desktop and Citrix NetScaler for application delivery, virtual desktop infrastructure support, and load-balanced services integration.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including alerting, dashboarding, and infrastructure metrics analysis to ensure system reliability and performance visibility.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software-related infrastructure issues.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, or Puppet).
- Familiarity with compliance regulations like HIPAA and industry-standard security practices.
- Basic understanding of IT policies, procedures, and documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with team members and end users.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Range: $83,200.00 - $115,000.00
