Lead Information Security Analyst - IAM
This role is based in the office three days a week with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this position.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to drive the continued evolution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations. We're looking for a proven IAM professional with a track record of successful transformation, who can apply hard-earned lessons, best practices, and practical experience to build stronger controls, more effective processes, and scalable solutions.
This role requires a trusted partner and influencer who listens well, navigates complexity, and brings stakeholders together. You will seamlessly move between strategy, requirements, governance, and hands-on execution to deliver meaningful change. The position combines strategy, governance, controls, and execution, demanding someone who can define requirements, strengthen controls, improve operational processes, and drive automation while building credibility and alignment across stakeholders.
You will be equally comfortable influencing senior leaders, partnering with technical teams, and solving complex operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize IAM business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational security and business objectives.
- Oversee identity governance, user access policies, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, HR, and business teams to enhance IAM processes, automation, and efficiency.
- Develop IAM business strategies, metrics, and reporting to measure effectiveness and compliance.
- Support IAM program initiatives, including role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), Cloud, Non-Human Accounts, and identity lifecycle management.
- Ensure seamless onboarding, offboarding, and access review processes to maintain security and minimize risks.
- Manage IAM-related projects, driving continuous improvements in identity governance, workflows, and user experience.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams to translate business needs into actionable IAM strategies.
- Monitor and enhance IAM risk management processes, ensuring timely mitigation of security gaps.
- Work with vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure IAM operations adhere to best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 3+ years of Identity Access Management experience preferred.
- 2+ years of Technology or Business Controls experience.
- 2+ years of Escalation Management or supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of related work experience in financial industry operations or systems.
- Experience with IAM technologies such as Okta, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP) and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage IAM projects, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiencies.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $119,000.00 - $187,000.00. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
