Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum based on children’s interests.
• Communicate with parents about their children’s progress and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Engage with other childcare professionals to continue professional growth.
• Calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling, safety, and emergency situations (including lifting infants into and out of cribs for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers).

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 45-hour infant/toddler certification or CDA.
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
• Meets background check eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid Training preferred.
• Basic Health and Safety training preferred.
• ADA training preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour.
