About the role
The Lead Infant Teacher will be responsible for leading a team of infant teachers, providing high-quality care and education to infants aged 0-12 months. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of infant teachers
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants
- Assess and document each infant’s developmental progress
- Collaborate with parents to support their child’s growth and development
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for infants
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Experience with infant development and care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of infant nutrition and safety guidelines
- Experience with infant feeding and diapering
Skills
