Lead Infant Teacher

About the role

Do you love babies? Are you excited to see babies explore their new world? Do you love working with infants as they learn to walk and play with their friends?

Responsibilities

• Support infants in their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Assess infants' developmental progress and communicate with parents about their child's development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of infants at all times.

Requirements

• At least 12 core ECE units and an infant class, preferably an AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• At least 1 year of paid experience in a center environment.
• Ability to clear Livescan and have a current TB clearance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging situations.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of infant development and appropriate teaching strategies.
• Experience with infant care and safety protocols.
