About the role
The Lead Indirect Credit Officer (Underwriter) is responsible for underwriting indirect auto loans and managing relationships with dealerships. This role requires strong credit analysis skills and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite indirect auto loans based on creditworthiness and market conditions
- Manage relationships with dealerships to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
- Review loan applications and make timely decisions
- Provide guidance and support to sales teams on credit policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on loan performance and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit underwriting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
