Lead In Home Caregiver

About the role

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts, including fill-ins, new clients, and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches' service areas.

Responsibilities

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as:

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Requirements

To be a Lead Caregiver, you must:

• Be CNA Certified or HCA Certified in the state of WA
• Have a valid Washington State Driver's license, valid auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
• Be comfortable driving to all serviced areas, with commute times that can be over an hour long
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be able to pass a state and national background check
• Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Have an active state NAC/CNA or HCA license (preferred but not required)
• Have one year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home setting
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Be able to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Have a smartphone with the ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app

Pay

Lead Caregiver Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 8 PM (note: this position requires being flexible, and working outside of presented schedule is a possibility)
