Lead I Packout BPO 1st shift /Bilingual Spanish

Essential Duties

• Guiding, training, and leading the team to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of Retail products.
• Ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
• Verifying HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the Pack out Process.
• Directing multiple staff to handle varying production flows of Retail products within the Pack Out Department.
• Adhering to and supporting all Safety related programs and requirements.
• Leading, teaching, and creating a positive work environment.
• Managing inventory control, ensuring 100% adherence to all recipe designs, company GMP’s, and SOP’s.
• Running, adjusting, breaking down, and reassembling job-specific processing equipment.
• Understanding and reacting to “down time” to minimize downtime incurred.
• Contributing to a proactive approach to address future downtime obstructions.
• Updating the Process Coordinator on efficiencies and any hindrances to the process.
• Offering recommendations and solutions to such matters.
• Utilizing designated paperwork/systems to track, verify, and adjust efficiencies.
• Preparing to explain successes and opportunities.
• Responsible for “real-time” position-specific inventory control.
• Accurately and efficiently using floor-level inventory tracking systems.
• Responsible for all line products being put “on hold” or deemed “waste” due to line errors or inefficiencies.
• Responsible for all line “down time” related to your processing line/equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, self-motivation, safety consciousness, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ambition, and a leader/coaching mentality.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
