Lead Housekeeper - Full Time Days

About the role

Lead Environmental Services Technician assists managers with the daily operational housekeeping activities and monitors cleanliness standards in a healthcare environment. You will be part of a dedicated and diverse care team that values compassion, respect, and meaningful connections with residents, clients, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direction of employee work schedules, supervising and allocating cleaning staff on daily housekeeping activities, such as cleaning patient/resident rooms and facilities, and disposing of waste.
• Maintain and inventory stock to ensure supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.
• Perform administrative tasks for ordering housekeeping supplies in a healthcare environment.
• Check and maintain equipment to ensure it is in working order.
• Monitor the use of cleaning agents, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in an appropriate way; issue keys, clean linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment to cleaning staff.
• Ensure housekeeping processes comply with healthcare organization and regulatory codes.
• Depending on location and program availability, may have access to use of internal applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work experience in environmental services is beneficial.

Pay

Salary range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Job Schedule: Full time
• Weekly Hours: 40.00
