About the role
The role of Housekeeper - Lead involves overseeing a team of housekeepers, managing daily cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of housekeepers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet property needs and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor housekeepers to improve their skills and performance.
- Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any issues related to property upkeep.
- Document and report any incidents or concerns to management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the cleaning industry.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- Previous experience in a professional cleaning environment.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic computer literacy.

Pay
