Lead Housekeeper

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation of Laundry Supervision and set-up of housekeeping staff to cover weekends
• Drive a lab vehicle to transport staff, pick-up and drop off of laundry and other supplies
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners
• Dust window blinds
• Dust and polish furniture
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; waxing and polishing, as necessary
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, and bathroom items
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Clean laundry using commercial washing machines and dryers
• Fold and prepare bath and bed linens for use

Position Requirements

• Schedule: Normal work week is Friday thru Tuesday
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Housekeeping experience, with a strong focus on customer service. 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
• Skills: Valid driver’s license Demonstrated leadership ability Strong customer service and needs assessment skills Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment Exceptional attention to detail

The hourly rate for this position is $23.57-$28.81. The hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
