Lead Heavy Line Diesel Technician/Mechanic – Relo to Boston MA or Queens NY

About the role

We are a reputable plane de-icing company with locations at major airports in the Northeast and Canada. We operate and service heavy line de-icing diesel trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Lead/Head Diesel Mechanic on heavy line de-icing diesel trucks and equipment
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other mechanics
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained to high standards
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Heavy Line Diesel Mechanic
• Hydraulics experience is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills and a positive attitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
