In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap and strategy for Cloud SQL platform across multiple product areas. Influence cross-product area strategy and define holistic and long-term strategy across all aspects of the product's success.
  • Lead and coach a team of Product Managers, to define roadmap for individual areas, foster collaboration and healthy team environment to deliver results.
  • Partner closely with adjacent product areas and identify opportunities for better portfolio level integrations and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the various engine product management leads to drive growth of the business. Synthesize data and present at business reviews to executives. Deliver profound product/project impact through complex and large in scope strategic investments owned by their team.
  • Leverage Google's powerful AI capabilities to improve product capabilities and improve organizational effectiveness by driving adoption of AI tools and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications:
  • - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • - 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • - 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • - 5 years of experience with SaaS products in the relational database space.
  • - 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • - Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • - 10 years of experience building and running cloud database service.
  • - 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • - Experience with generative AI and building agentic systems.

Pay

$240,000 - $334,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
