About the role

As a Ground Operations Lead, you will ensure smooth logistics operations, interact daily with cross‑functional teams, and maintain safety standards while driving operational excellence. You will lead shift activities, coordinate launches and sorts, and support both Veho staff and crowd‑sourced driver partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Thrive in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, handling quick‑thinking tasks with enthusiasm and resilience.
• Navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re‑routes, and logistical challenges efficiently.
• Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross‑functionally to orchestrate seamless, safety‑focused operations.
• Operate a forklift and, when needed, a box truck with skill and precision to move goods safely.
• Provide high‑level customer service and support to driver partners and internal teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.
• Stand for extended periods, lift objects up to 50 lb, and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field (preferred).
• Ownership of a modern smartphone and daily navigation of apps.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks (preferred).
• Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort in a fast‑paced, physically demanding setting.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
• Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends as operational needs dictate.

Compensation

$24 per hour. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the company. Veho also offers a competitive equity package.

Schedule

Anticipated schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 pm – 7:00 am. Flexible hours may be required, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
