Responsibilities
Lead glaziers with 2-3 years or more experience in the industry and experience as a lead glazier are sought. Responsibilities include planning logistics for contract projects and service work calls, managing equipment, shop fabrication, logistics for shop operations, and logistics for service work calls throughout Northern California. The position requires managing other glaziers, leading the team in tasks to complete efficiently, correcting, teaching, and guiding other glaziers in a professional manner.
Must be able to communicate clearly in English, have good communication skills, be willing to work as a team member, take instruction from the supervisor, and have a clean driving record (no DUI).
The company values safety and professional deportment both within the company and with customers. Lead glaziers must be self-motivated, hardworking, and clear communicators.
Job site reports for contract work in most cases, and report to the shop for service work calls in most cases.
Company Information
We fabricate and install aluminum storefront, curtainwall, and related systems, including setting glass, installing doors, windows, panels, and screens. Accurate measuring and assessing openings are essential. On-going service work throughout Northern California requires the ability to communicate accurately with the supervisor for ordering materials, managing tasks, and managing time on-site to meet customer needs.

Compensation
The pay range for lead glaziers is $36-$40/hour, depending on skill and experience.

Division 8 Resource is a licensed glazing contractor in the Bay Area with a high percentage of its business coming from repeat customers and referrals. We strive to provide complete and timely services in all phases of the project.
