This position is a salaried position with a competitive bonus plan for outstanding performers. Job Description As a Customer Engagement Specialist you will market and generate interest for our Utility Sponsored Rebate Programs. The programs enable municipalities, small businesses, and non-profits within our coverage territory to reduce their energy spending and upgrade to more modern, energy efficient equipment. A Customer Engagement Specialist will Inform customers of Utility Program opportunities and generate leads for the program teamBe able to explain the benefits of the program to customers at an expert levelRecognize energy efficiency opportunities on sitesSchedule energy audits and coordinate with Energy Conservation RepsSecure necessary documents and information from customersUpdate and maintain all systems requiredAct professionally and ethically at all timesReport directly to the Sales Manager The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications Customer service experience preferredValid driver’s licenseAbility to travel and canvass potential customer areasAbility to multitask while staying organizedStrong verbal and written communications skillsPositive customer service skillsProficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferredSelf motivated and drivenExperience in lighting and electrical a plus!
