Lead Fulfillment Associate

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

- Perform production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. - Communicate instructions to other associates, motivate them, and keep their work areas safe. - Hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to: Trainer, Process Assistant, and Shipping Clerk.

Requirements

- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience. - High school or equivalent. - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required. - Are 18 years of age or older.

Qualifications

- Basic qualifications. - Preferred qualifications include a completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others, 1+ year working in a like environment, experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement, excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and adherence to company policies.

Skills

- Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. - Leadership and management experience. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Starting Day 1 of employment, Amazon offers a starting hourly rate of $23.00, including the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift selected.
