Lead Fulfillment Associate

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center
• Perform production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks
• Communicate instructions to other associates
• Motivate team members
• Maintain safe work areas

Work environment

• Commitment to providing a safe work environment, including wearing a reflective vest, stretching, and recognizing others for working safely
• Relaxed, casual dress code (as long as attire meets safety requirements)
• Climate-controlled sites, but noise and temperature levels can vary day to day
• Hearing protection is available
• May be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet
• May be asked to work on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds
• Able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Pay

USA, CA, Hollister - $26.00 - $26.00 USD hourly. Starting pay includes the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. Additional earnings include overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
