The Lead Front Desk Representative will oversee front desk operations, provide leadership to front desk staff, ensure a welcoming patient experience, and coordinate administrative functions.
- Supervise and support front desk staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Greet and assist patients with check-in, check-out, and scheduling needs.
- Monitor phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries to ensure timely responses.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk team members.
- Cookordinate communication between front desk staff, providers, and clinical teams.
- Aid with billing, insurance verification, and patient record updates as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned to support practice operations.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of front desk or medical office experience. Prior supervisory or lead role experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and insurance processes. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
