Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Enablement)

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Enablement) to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will focus on turning complex business needs into practical AI-enabled workflows that can be deployed in production. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand their processes, prototype solutions quickly, and ensure the most valuable automations are secure, scalable, and maintainable. The position also requires strong technical judgment to define success metrics, governance, and a smooth handoff of solutions to the teams that will own them. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $194,600 – $272,400 annually Responsibilities Build AI applications and automations to address business challenges Translate business problems into actionable AI workflows and technical plans Collaborate with internal teams to understand workflows and build trust Prototype solutions quickly and productionize priority workflows efficiently Integrate data and tools into secure end-to-end workflows Define evaluation metrics and governance for production workflows Transfer maintainable workflows to function owners to reduce dependency Qualifications 8+ years of software development experience, including AI applications and automations Strong fundamentals in software engineering and production judgment Experience with reusable tool integrations and enterprise identity patterns Proficient in integrating APIs, data systems, and workflow actions Hands-on experience with AI agents, including orchestration and monitoring Demonstrated technical leadership through architecture decisions and mentoring Ability to prioritize and communicate technical and business tradeoffs Benefits Comprehensive healthcare benefits 401(k) matching Workspace benefits for your home office Personal and professional development funds Family planning support Flexible vacation and global wellness days More than 4 months of paid parental leave Paid volunteer time off Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
