About the role
The Lead Food Services Team Member is responsible for overseeing the food service operations at our client sites. This includes managing a team of food service staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations including menu planning, procurement, and preparation
- Manage a team of food service staff, providing training and performance feedback
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and adjust services accordingly
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, nutrition, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food service management
- Proven ability to manage teams and provide effective leadership
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to food service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid food handler’s license
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
