Lead Food Service Worker

About the role
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated lead foodservice worker to our TRIO Community Meals team in North Hills, CA. As a lead foodservice worker, you will have the opportunity to lead daily operation onsite by ensuring quality food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring proper preparation and storage of food.
- Directing food service staff and operations to ensure a successful meal service.
- Ordering food and paper products as needed.
- Ensuring sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- ServSafe certification.
- At least one year’s experience in a foodservice role.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one year’s experience in a supervisory role.
Pay
Compensation range: $19.00–$20.00 per hour.
