About the role
As Lead Designer, you will direct our design team and be responsible for high-quality product creation across everyday arrangements, events, weddings, and photography for our website and social media. You will play a key leadership role in training, mentoring, and elevating the skills of our designers while maintaining our signature style and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the design team in creating exceptional floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and special projects.
- Oversee photography of designs for digital marketing and social media.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior designers.
- Ensure consistent high standards in design, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with ownership on creative direction and shop growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Professional training and significant experience as a floral designer (3+ years preferred in a full-service shop).
- Strong leadership, training, and team development skills.
- Proficiency in a wide range of design styles for everyday, events, and photography.
- CFD or AIFD accreditation is a plus, but not required.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with seasonal peaks.
