About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems
- Respond to alarms and investigate incidents
- Provide technical support to building occupants
- Document all work performed and keep records up-to-date
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection systems
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certification
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using fire alarm system diagnostic tools
Skills
- Knowledge of NFPA standards
- Experience with various fire alarm systems (e.g., addressable, zone-based)
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and wiring
