Lead Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects — run small crews, oversee installations, and ensure quality work.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with managers on project updates, findings, and issues.
• Perform installation, programming, testing, inspection, and repair of fire detection and signaling systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Document inspections accurately and follow up on any repair recommendations.
• Mentor and train junior technicians to build the next generation of talent.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Four or more years of experience in fire protection systems, with a focus on fire alarm experience.
• NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems (or the ability to obtain within 18 months).
• A strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards.
• Proven ability to lead a crew and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling to accommodate both day and night shifts, as well as weekend coverage.
