Lead Fire Alarm Inspector

About the Role

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Lead Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team. You will be part of a dynamic environment that fosters growth as Convergint expands. This role allows you to contribute to protecting lives and assets while delivering world-class service to customers, colleagues, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems in specified buildings.
• Act as team lead and oversee or direct the work of other Fire Alarm Inspectors.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies.
• Ensure customer satisfaction for all inspections.
• Handle more complex system tests and inspections.
• Perform after-hours and weekend inspections as required by customers on an as-needed basis.
• Participate in the Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by referring top talent.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid math skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Seattle FA-1 certification.
• One of the following certifications: NICET II or CFAT-2.
