Lead Financial Analyst

As a Lead Financial Analyst in our Operations Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities — driving analytical excellence and providing business intelligence to support executive decision-making and operational improvements. What You’ll Do Enable planning and forecasting activities, including forecasts, the annual budgeting process, and long-term strategic planningAnalyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue drivers, operating costs, and cash flowDevelop and maintain detailed operating financial models to predict, track, and report on business growth, trends, initiatives, and key projectsImprove the budgeting, reporting, and analysis framework by standardizing, automating, and enhancing systems, tools, and processesContinuously improve reporting and dashboards, generating insights for executive management to prioritize and allocate resources effectivelyPartner with department managers to gather business insights and proactively identify improvement opportunitiesDrive overall financial performance analysis and support accurate, timely decision-making What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA, CFA, CMA, or MBA preferred4+ years of FP&A experience with a primary focus on operating matters (inventory management, manufacturing, distribution, cost management, and IT-related functions)Strong proficiency in financial systems and databases, with excellent data mining and analytics skillsExceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with JD Edwards and Power BI preferredExperience leading financial budgeting and forecasting processes with strong analytical and modeling capabilitiesProven ability to make data-driven recommendations with limited informationHighly motivated, proactive, and collaborative with the ability to independently drive projects, make decisions, and assume higher-level responsibilities when neededExperience in an operating company; experience with OUS (Outside the United States) operations is a key differentiatorStrong analytical skills and solid oral and written communication abilities Why VB Spine? Compensation Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is $105,000.00 - $117,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
