Job Description

The Lead Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding clients towards achieving their financial and investment goals. This position requires a deep understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and client relationship management. The Lead Advisor will lead a team of advisors, provide strategic direction, and ensure the highest level of service to clients. The Lead Advisor will be employed by Emerald Financial Group. As such all existing and new clients of the practice will remain that of Emerald Financial Group and not that of the Financial Advisor. We are open to individuals who do not have financial services experience but possess a proven track record of success and experience in leading a Sales Team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial advisors to achieve strong performance and professional growth.
  • Drive business growth by expanding the client base and increasing assets under management.
  • Maintain accountability for personal and team revenue goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance to prospective and existing clients.
  • Communicate complex financial strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Oversee trade execution, insurance analysis, suitability review, and client account changes with accuracy and care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Serious (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration.
  • Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.

Compensation And Benefits

Here, you’ll enjoy: Base salary is tied to recurring revenue from your book of business, with additional revenue sharing on first-year commissions and advisory fees. $125,000-$175,000 based upon experience and active licensure.
