Lead Finance Specialist - Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal controls that are effective, efficient, and properly administered to deliver accurate and reliable data.
• Handle communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.
• Document SOPs and control frameworks covering aspects of CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, and GHG reporting.
• Collaborate between key stakeholders of the Sustainability, Controllership, and FP&A teams to drive efficiencies and eliminate duplicative or unnecessary work.
• Work with the business to account for U.S. federal funding on Research & Development projects.
• Collaborate with teams to help deliver the formulation of processes and controls related to various emissions, sustainability data, and metrics to ensure consistency across the reporting landscape.
• Support audit and compliance requirements for emissions accounting and reporting, ensuring resolution of any audit findings where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Subject matter expertise in financial disclosures, auditing, consulting, or other relevant financial or operational experience.
• Compelling technical, analytical, and decision-making skills with an ability to interpret and summarize information.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
• Ability to prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines and pay exceptionally close attention to detail.
• Effective problem identification and solution skills.
