About the role
This role supports the Trade Marketing team with retail pricing programs and internal analysis through strong commercial finance skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly general ledger closing process for Trade Retail programs ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and variance explanations are delivered timely and accurately
- Calculate, input, and report monthly forecast for Trade Retail programs by collaborating cross-functionally to ensure all updates are reflected, variances explained, and ensure risks / opportunities are considered.
- Present and communicate with stakeholders the forecast and KPI tracking related to Retail Programs & RTM
- Provide Retail Program data inputs for monthly management deck used to support decision-making and performance management
- Develop and track operational and financial metrics/models to support decision making and evaluate commercial initiatives for Trade Retail programs
- Support resource allocation, governance and post-implementation reviews of strategic trade programs through modeling & tracking
- Liaison with GBS team & Trade Teams to ensure payments for Trade Retail programs are aligned to forecasted magnitudes and are executed timely
- Support the quarterly SOX control process through compiling documentation, performing reconciliations, and working cross functionally with GBS team – ensuring a robust internal control environment is maintained
- Help drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency within the Commercial Finance team
- Drive ad-hoc requests/projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting services
- Technical proficiency: Experience in SAP/BPC systems (preferred), Experience using Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build business relationships with Trust
- Excellent analytical skills & business acumen to build strong business cases that drive business decisions
- Commercially focused and is consumer centric
- Strong oral & written communication skills, negotiating ability, & problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Information technology, or related field.

- Have worked in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and time management of multiple deadlines
- Have had experience influencing cross-functionally to achieve a business goal
