Lead Field Service Representative- Water Technologies

About the role
The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications. As a Lead FSR, you will have the added task of being a role model, training other FSRs, and owning site metrics for sites you cover.
Key characteristics of the role include mechanical know-how, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure contract compliance for volume and quality specifications while operating, monitoring, and optimizing equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
- Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
- Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
- Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation.
