About the role

We’re growing and seeking a Lead Fence Installer to run installations and lead a crew in the field at our Hartford, WI location.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fence installation crew on residential, commercial, and farm projects
• Install vinyl, aluminum, cedar wood, and chain-link fencing and gates to A to Z quality standards
• Pound posts, set posts, hang gates, and complete installations start to finish
• Read job specs and layouts, ensuring every fence is built square, plumb, and built to last
• Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety
• Operate installation equipment and maintain tools, trucks, and job sites
• Represent A to Z Quality Fencing professionally with customers on every job

Requirements

• Fence installation experience strongly preferred (experienced installers start at $30/hour)
• Less experience? We’ll train the right person at $25/hour with room to grow into the lead rate
• Ability to lead a crew and take ownership of job quality from start to finish
• Comfortable with physical, outdoor work in all seasons
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Pay & Benefits

• $30.00/hour for qualified, experienced applicants
• $25.00/hour training rate for candidates with lesser qualifications, with opportunity to advance
