Lead Equipment Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagnose & repair equipment problems related to sensors & electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot, repair, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns immediately.
• Perform basic electrical work, plumbing, soldering, carpentry, and snow removal when necessary.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and grounds including installed automated machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, etc.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance.
• Complete all required safety training on time as assigned by the company.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience: 4 years of experience in troubleshooting in equipment maintenance & repair or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in the maintenance field preferred.
• Minimum Requirements: Familiar with the workings of a cGMP facility, experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades, strong Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical and most mechanical systems, multi-tasks, able to handle multiple projects, must be able to work under pressure and in all emergency situations, ability to define problems and resolve them quickly, ability to work in a logical, clean, and organized manner, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to work with and liaison with various outside vendors, basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs, the ability to lift and exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.

Pay

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $28.16–$42.24. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
