Lead Environmental Services Worker (3rd Shift, Overnight) - Evanston Hospital-Endeavor Health
Job Responsibilities
- Assists management and supervisors at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
- Aid shift operation in the preparation and delivery of supplies necessary to help ensure all employees' needs are met
- May need to perform overall assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms
- Adhere to all departmental sanitation procedures
- Report all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary)
- Supervise all staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
- Formulate action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
- Aid in employee training, coaching, and motivation
- Maintain an accurate record keeping system for quality control systems
- Adhere to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
- Maintain compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and client contract
- Maintain all records and reports necessary to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes
Qualifications
- Requires 1-2 years of experience in environmental services
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively
- Ability to apply elementary math functions
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions and work independently after appropriate training and instruction
- Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients
Requirements
Candidates must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay and Schedule
The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $18.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
