Position Summary
Manages daily operations, including the staff. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget
- Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of the overall project schedule
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Covers project activities with Traylor personnel and joint venture partners
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the project, including safety, performance, budget, scheduling, equipment management and quality
- Led the project team
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Ability to relocate as needed

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 8 years of heavy civil construction experience required. Electrical-related field preferred.
- Design, project management and supervisory experience required
- General understanding of all applicable electrical codes
