Lead Engineer, Product Development Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Development Engineer to join our team to design and launch next generation MicroEnvironments products – critical technologies enabling the safe storage and transport of critical photomasks used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer who thrives on solving complex problems involving mechanical design, plastic molding, metal machining and particle contamination control.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of metal based photomask handling systems
• Lead product enhancements and derivative designs to improve performance and manufacturing efficiency
• Drive innovation in high-purity, high precision products
• Build, test, and validate prototypes in real-world conditions
• Collaborate across simulation, manufacturing, and supplier teams
• Perform FEA, CFD, and moldflow analyses for design optimization
• Take products from concept through production launch
• Utilize Accolade and other project management tools to plan, track, and report progress on engineering projects.
• Conduct root cause investigations to resolve design, manufacturing, or performance issues
