We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections with real content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate. Must preserve all substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key sections: - "A DAY IN THE LIFE" describes role responsibilities. Could be "About the role" or "Responsibilities". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to decide which headings to use based on content. We have content about day-to-day tasks, responsibilities, etc. Could put under "Responsibilities". Also "Understand client design criteria..." etc also responsibilities. We have "What Youll Need" which is requirements/qualifications: 10+ years experience, etc. That's Requirements. We have "What Sets You Apart" which is skills/knowledge: knowledge of reciprocating engine, communication protocols, etc. That's Skills. We have "How We Invest In You" which includes benefits and pay: Competitive pay, insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA, dental/vision, education assistance, work/life balance, employee/family culture, gym on site, and more! Also includes salary range: $121,680.00 - $176,436.00 Individual Compensation to be determined... Thus we can have Benefits section (list of benefits) and Pay section (salary range). Schedule: travel percentage mentioned: "Position is estimated to require travel up to 25% of the time pre-construction and 70% during construction". That's schedule/travel info. So we can include Schedule section. We also have "WHO ARE WE?" which is company description; could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is about the role, not company. But we could put company description under "About the role"? Might be better to have "About the role" summarizing role purpose. The "A DAY IN THE LIFE" and "STEP INTO THE ROLE" sections describe role. So we can put that under "About the role" or "Responsibilities". Since we need to avoid thin sections, we can combine role description and responsibilities into one section maybe "About the role". But we also have separate "Responsibilities" maybe better. We need to decide headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content for About the role? Could be a brief summary: "As a Lead Engineer Instrumentation & Controls within the Gas Power Generation Team, you will serve as the subject matter expert..." That's from first paragraph. That's about the role. Responsibilities: the detailed tasks: developing/reviewing design, collaborating, designing controls, mentoring, etc. Could be many bullet points. Requirements: "What Youll Need" (10+ years experience, etc.) Qualifications: maybe education/PE license etc. Could be separate but we have overlapping. Could combine Requirements and Qualifications? But we need to follow instruction: use headings only when posting has real specific content. We have both "What Youll Need" (requirements) and also "A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required." That's qualification. Also Bachelor's degree required. So we can have Requirements (experience) and Qualifications (education/license). Or we could combine into one "Requirements" but better to split. Skills: "What Sets You Apart" includes knowledge, interpersonal skills, communication. Benefits: list from "How We Invest In You": Competitive pay (but pay separate), 100% employer paid HDHP insurance premiums, 401(k) with company match, HSA and FSA options, Dental and Vision insurance, Education Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement), Work/Life balance, Employee/Family focused culture, Gym on site, And more! Pay: salary range. Schedule: travel percentage. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove "WHO ARE WE?" maybe not needed as it's company description; but could be considered "About the role"? Actually it's about company, not role. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. "WHO ARE WE?" is not boilerplate but it's company overview. Might be considered not required but could be included as part of "About the role"? However the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Including company overview may be thin but still substantive. Could include under "About the role" as a brief description of the company. But we already have role description. Might be okay to add a short paragraph about company under "About the role". However we must not repeat job title. Let's craft sections:

About the role

As a Lead Engineer Instrumentation & Controls within the Gas Power Generation Team, you will serve as the subject matter expert for instrumentation and controls design for the gas plant (reciprocating engines and gas turbines) and associated Balance of Plant (BOP) Systems and Equipment. You will collaborate with internal project teams, utilities, vendors, and third‑party engineering firms to deliver instrumentation and controls designs that are safe, reliable, and compliant with company, state, and federal regulations. Blattner, with over 115 years of construction experience, focuses on renewable energy solutions and has installed over 20% of U.S. utility‑scale wind, solar and storage capacity.

That's okay.

Responsibilities

  • Develop or review instrumentation and controls design for gas generation plants and BOP systems.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, owners, internal teams, utilities, vendors, and third‑party engineering firms.
  • Design controls for BOP systems (fuel gas conditioning, inlet air, lube oil, cooling, water treatment, emissions control, fire protection, plant control system integration, etc.).
  • Mentor junior engineers and support development of internal I&C standards and design practices.
  • Develop metrics and set objectives related to equipment protection and controls engineering obligations.
  • Travel to client offices and project sites as required (up to 25% pre‑construction, 70% during construction).
  • Perform root cause analysis for engineering and I&C items.
  • Ensure safety standards adherence, verify equipment controls and protection per design, employ Management of Change (MOC) as needed.
  • Verify compliance with industry standards for reciprocating engine and combustion turbine installations and fuel gas systems.

  • Collaborate with Blattner Business Units on electrical design and commissioning (protection, generation control, transformers, switchgear, generator protection, station service, grounding, lightning, cable/raceway, lighting).
  • Review electrical interface design for BOP equipment.
  • Stay current on new technologies and industry practices; seek opportunities to add value with best available technology.
  • Support creation and maintenance of library of design basis documents.
  • Ensure procurement managers are current with design basis prior to project kick‑off.
  • Act as technical resource for engineering leads reviewing owner, contractor, and company scopes for completeness, noting gaps/overlaps at interface points.
  • Support constructability reviews of engine/turbine power block layouts, modular/skid‑mounted equipment, pre‑assembled cable and conduit systems.
  • Support onsite I&C requirements for plant startup, first fire, synchronization, performance testing; act as escalation point for commissioning issues.
  • Review all commissioning documents; verify complete equipment protection and controls for power block and BOP.
  • Review design for redundancy of instrumentation, controls hardware, and logic; review winterization; review Control Loop Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams, Controls narratives and logic.
  • Own controller communication protocol and interface implementation (DCS at power block level, OEM controllers).

Schedule

Position is estimated to require travel up to 25% of the time pre‑construction and 70% during construction to project sites, client offices, and utility offices, subject to fluctuations as needs dictate.

We must ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO etc. We removed "WHO ARE WE?" but we included a brief mention of Blattner in About the role. That's okay. Check for any duplicated lines: we didn't repeat. Check for any placeholders like "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD
