Lead Engineer Automation Quality

About the role

This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automated testing strategies and frameworks
• Guide the automation initiatives for complex projects
• Define and enforce test automation best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders on test automation objectives
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline with DevOps teams
• Monitor and report on automation metrics and KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement of test automation processes

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of testing experience with 4-5 years in automation testing or equivalent training
• Proven experience managing and mentoring automation test teams
• Strong Java programming skills, including core concepts
• Extensive use of test automation tools like Selenium and Karate
• Expertise in API and UI automation with relevant frameworks
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills

Pay

$105,700 – $149,275 annually
