Lead Electrician
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for specialty projects such as schools, and universities.
- Pull, terminate, and test conductors, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Install conduit, panels, transformers, switchgear, lighting, and specialty equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform layout for feeders, branch circuits, and devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and company standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, respecting specialty project protocols.
- Cookordination with foremen, engineers, and other trades for seamless project execution.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and quality inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license (where required by jurisdiction).
- 1-3 years of commercial or specialty electrical experience.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and general electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical systems, control panels, or custom technology integrations.
- OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certification.
- Experience with commercial or specialty projects.
- Familiarity with commissioning, testing, and quality assurance processes.
